Who Dr. Marisol G. Westberg Is
Dr. Marisol G. Westberg is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, AASECT Certified Sex Educator, and Board Certified Sexologist with over 20 years of clinical experience. She maintains a private telehealth practice providing sex therapy and couples counseling to individuals and couples in Oregon, New York, and Connecticut.
From 2007 to 2019, she served as Assistant Professor at Lewis and Clark College in Portland, Oregon, where she developed and led the Sex Therapy Track within the Marriage, Couple, and Family Therapy graduate program — teaching sex therapy and supervising clinical training for graduate students.
She is the creator of the Fuck Sex Model — a holistic, trauma-informed clinical framework for treating sexual issues developed through a decade of private practice. She is also the author of Pleasure: The Secret Ingredient in Happiness (2011) and has published research in the Journal of Feminist Family Therapy and the Journal of Marital and Family Therapy.
She is affiliated with AASECT, the American Board of Sexology, the World Association of Sex Coaches, and the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy.
